From what I can tell
woven between spaces
is a Mystery
that refuses to be named -

Our hearts never remaining
permanently cracked
but instead growing blossoms
on a fault line

Hi, I'm Jennifer aka J. I am a Spiritual Midwife, trained in the lineage of Unity spiritual companionship, prayer chaplaincy, and integrative life coaching. I'm also a semi-retired full spectrum doula and a fully retired yoga instructor. A mother of two. The author of one (Bliss & Blue). A lifelong student of grief, holistic mental wellness and well-being, spiritual health, mothering, contemplation, bodies, art.

My work is centered on holding space for women, mothers, caregiving bodies, and eclectic souls who know grief, trauma, illness, and loss. With a dynamic experience of real, raw life, my curiosity tends toward unpacking how the female body, mind and life have been tamed - and, how we might explore reclaiming our holy, wild spiritual nature.

Is there something keeping you separate from the wellness or joy you desire most?

I know the relief of being seen. For me, that experience started over two decades ago with my own Spiritual Director. V. held space in the ways that I needed most as someone unpacking grief, trauma, and loss. He was not only a safe and sacred container for how my soul still ached - but, solid ground upon which I could set down the good that did persist. It was here I first learned that grief and joy can go hand in hand.

Today, I receive clients and companions with an open mind, grounded heart, and an exceptional amount of compassion. It is a gift to be both an anchor as you ache and a beacon of light offering a way back toward your inner wisdom, the possibility of goodness, God and/or hope.

With the right support, we can survive and even thrive.

J. is a real life example how we can transform hard journeys and tough times into something that feels holy and good. In this path post-cancer and with chronic illness (thus far), she has not only cultivated a vibrant spiritual path - but a rich and joyful life. Today, J. resides on a tiny patch of Hohokam-O’odham desert land with her husband, children, chickens, and rescue companions. She is the current Board President of her spiritual community and a Sangha member. In her downtime, J. can be found writing poetry, painting, gardening, cooking, hiking, and growing her home library.
