About J.

From what I can tell
woven between spaces
is a Mystery
that refuses to be named -

Our hearts never remaining
permanently cracked
but instead growing blossoms
on a fault line

Jennifer Magnano aka J. is a multi-passionate soul with a penchant for amplifying the potential within complex human experience. She is a (capital “m”) Mother, soul midwife, spiritual writer, doula, poet, mystic, community builder, Ayurveda-aficionado, and artist. Jennifer is the the author of children's book Bliss & Blue. Her works center grief at the intersection of mothering, care work, feminism, spirituality, bodies, and art.

Fluent in the language of bodies, Jennifer thrives post cancer and with chronic illness. She offers group workshops on grief, trauma, illness, and loss; and, writes the publication Grief Body for a growing number of like hearts with wandering, pondering souls.

Raising her voice for our unboxed spiritual wellness, Jennifer's poetry has been featured on Mothering Spirit; and, on recent podcasts by Tyler Hill (Finding God in Grief & Suffering) and Pray With Our Feet (Breaking God Out of Boxes). She is the current board president of Unity of Mesa.

Today, Jennifer resides on a tiny patch of ancestral desert land. There, her soul is nourished by a patient husband, two beautiful children, a wide variety of rescued animal companions, medicinal gardens, fresh eggs, and a home library that far exceeds even her wildest little girl dreams.
