Welcome to Peace & the Grief Body
This is our private group.

"This is the real work of the peacemaker, to find the soft spot & tenderness in that very uneasy place and stay with it." - from Practicing Peace in Times of War by beloved Buddhist nun Pema Chodron
Welcome to Peace & the Grief Body, a 30-day guided experience. An Anam Cara (soul friend) group. A safe and sacred container to be seen and held you as you find your way forward with conscious inner dialogue centering both your peace and your grief.
** Please take a moment to bookmark this page. Here, you'll find all of the links that you will need for the next 30 days. **

Our group chat is live! This is the safe and sacred space where you can share your journey. You'll receive a daily continuous prompt, plus inspiration on the path. You are invited to respond here in any way that honors you and your path. Poetry or prose. A picture of your meditation or walk. A piece of art. A brief synopsis of a conscious conversation with a beloved or friend. A journal entry. A mandala. A journey. The encouragement we offer one another matters, so plan on showing up for 5-10 minutes each day in our chat.

Gatherings
Opening Circle is Tuesday, March 3rd at 12pm MST
For our opening circle, you will want to bring an open heart, a pen/pencil, and some paper. If it honors your journey, set up an altar for your grief. Consider who you are grieving or what version of you or your life that you might be mourning at this time. How can you attend to this with reverence? In past circles, we give each individual 2-3 minutes to share about their journey. In larger circles, not all will be able to speak and we adjust accordingly so that all known grief can be witnessed.

Closing Circle is Tuesday, April 7th at 12pm MST
For our closing circle, you will want to bring an open heart, a pen/pencil, and some paper. If it honors your journey, set up an altar for your peace. Consider what peace has been found, thus far. How can you attend to this with reverence? In past circles, we give each individual 2-3 minutes to share about their journey. In larger circles, not all will be able to speak and we adjust accordingly so that all known experiences of peace (or the absence of it) can be witnessed.

(If you are not able to be live on our calls, please check Telegram for a recorded practice. This will be similar to our live gathering, but without the conversations shared from live participants.)
A Note of Encouragement
My work as a soul midwife, spiritual support, and guide is to be with you as you access the wisdom that is already within you. I get to sit with you as you notice the peace that doesn't cease to exist. Peace & the Grief Body is a 30-day guided experience, an Anam Cara (soul friend) group, and a safe and sacred container to be seen and held you as you find a new-old way forward with conscious inner dialogue centering both peace and grief.
I believe deeply in personal responsibility and grace. Take what you need and give what you can. Miss a day? We're judgement free. You can always pick up where you left off.
Please remember this experience is uniquely yours. Decide what you want from it. Sometimes, it is nice to stay open to the possibilities beyond your imagination too.
There is something so special about building consciousness in community, beloved.
I can't wait for you to experience it yourself.
See you in our group!
With Love,
J.
your wide-eyed, mama-hearted, slightly feral soul friend
P.S. Perhaps now is the time to set an intention and place it in a spot where you can remember it for the next 30 days. Some choose to set a reminder on their phone; others a sticky note on the car visor or the bathroom mirror. Place it in a spot where you will see it often. This is one practice that can absolutely uplevel your experience.
If you need a bit of extra love and support during this journey, or a personalized spiritual direction, please feel free to email me. If you type PEACE in the subject line, it is easier for me to find these messages.
